‘Where The Hell Did It Come From??’
Herc Has Seen WESTWORLD 2.1!!

I am – Hercules!!

Westworld 2.1 FAQ

What’s it called?
“Journey Into Night.”

Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Lisa Joy (“Pushing Daisies,” “Burn Notice”) & Roberto Patino (“The Bastard Executioner”).

What says HBO?
“The puppet show is over, and we are coming for you and the rest of your kind. Welcome back to Westworld.”

Is Anthony Hopkins in this?
Robert Ford is in this.

Flashback Ford?
Yes. But also no.

Jimmi Simpson back as Young Man In Black? Do we see the history of the Delos Corporation through his eyes?
No Jimmi Simpson in 2.1.

Can I get a list of all the returning players?
Per HBO’s press release, the returning cast includes Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores), Thandie Newton (Maeve), Ed Harris (Man in Black), Jeffrey Wright (Bernard), James Marsden (Teddy), Tessa Thompson (Charlotte), Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (Armistice), Clifton Collins Jr. (Lawrence), Luke Hemsworth (Stubbs), Louis Herthum (Peter Abernathy), Simon Quarterman (Luke Sizemore), Talulah Riley (Angela), Rodrigo Santoro (Hector Escaton), Angela Sarafyan (Clementine), Shannon Woodward (Elsie), Ben Barnes (Logan), Jimmi Simpson (William), Leonardo Nam (Felix Lutz) and Ptolemy Slocum (Sylvester).

Does HBO also sport a list of players new to season two?
Fares Fares (Antoine Costa), Katja Herbers (Grace), Gustaf Skarsgård (Karl Strand), Hiroyuki Sanada (Musashi), Peter Mullan (James Delos), Rinko Kikuchi (Akane), Zahn McClarnon (Akecheta), Tao Okamoto (Hanaryo), Betty Gabriel (Maling), Jonathan Tucker (Craddock), Julia Jones (Kohana) and Kiki Sukezane (Sakura).

Dutch actress Katja Herbers from “Manhattan” and “The Leftovers”? Hot dog!
Alas, she doesn’t turn up till 2.3.

Did Maeve escape to achieve “Mainland infiltration”?
No. She is still backstage, distracted by memories of her “daughter.”

Is Old William still enjoying his little plastic maze?
Not this week.

Is the robot Bernard still running things?
I’m saying yes. “You gonna shoot the boss?” asks one Delos Destinations employee of another.

Do we get to visit Shogun World?
Not this week.

What about Medieval World, Roman World and Future World?
No. But in episode three we see another Delos Destination that is none of these.

How does it start?
With Bernard (or is it Arnold?) seeming to awaken. “I’m sorry, Dolores,” he says, “I was lost in thought.”

The big news?
Dolores has a big announcement for Teddy that will likely drive the entire season.

What else is HBO not telling us?
2.1 was compelling enough to make me want to take a gander at 2.2.  And 2.2 was good enough to make me watch 2.3.

What’s good?
The baseball CPU. The faceless white drone hosts. Dolores “greeting” the bow-tie guests. Tessa Thompson as Delos Destinations exec Charlotte Hale. The mystery of the hosts. “Manual override should be here.” “What the hell are they up to?” “Where the hell did it come from?”

What’s not so good?
No other parks this week. Also, this show isn’t as good as Sci-Fi’s old evil robot show “Battlestar Galactica.”

How does it end, spoiler boy?
“All of them,” surmises Bernard.

9 p.m. Sunday. HBO.
