J.J. Abrams was named co-writer/director of Episode IX in September, and John Boyega says Abrams and Chris Terrio (“Argo,” “Justice League”) have already completed their script.
John Boyega says he hasn’t read the script, but has been summoned to begin work on the sequel to “The Last Jedi” in July.
Still awaiting a real title, Episode IX is slated to hit cinemas late next year.
Though many (most?) seem to like last year’s “The Last Jedi” better, Abrams’ “The Force Awakens” is still the top-grossing “Star Wars” sequel in the history of history.
