Wheels here with a look at the newest bit of footage from Marvel and Netflix,
The Netflix Marvel shows have admittedly been a bit of a mixed bag. Most fans seem to agree though that Luke Cage as played by Mike Colter was one of the brights spots of the whole endeavor so far. Well, the long wait for season 2 of his solo series is almost over. It is slated to premiere on Netflix June 22nd.
To build up to that, Netflix has released the first teaser for the new season and it packs a lot of energy into an under 30 second clip. Let's check it out!
That's an excellent tease and Colter is as charismatic as ever from the looks of it.
Here's the official synopsis:
" After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain."
