Holy battling giant robots, Batman! We got a buttload of clips in a single package! We get to see John Boyega, Finn of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, doing a whole lot of action in this video, check it out. But first, the summary:
“Jake Pentecost (Boyega), son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots, including rival Lambert and 15-year-old hacker Amara, against a new Kaiju threat.”
There’s so much more giant robot vs giant monster (Jaeger vs Kaiju) action to be pumped about, but where the heck is Charlie Day? I still don’t understand why they cast him as a doctor, but he cracks me up and I could watch him all day.
Something else I noticed, there’s a whole lot less of Mako, Rinko Kikuchi, in these clips. I wonder if her character has taken a back seat. The description seems to imply that she’s a major part of this movie, but I think I only spotted her in any of this footage for maybe two seconds, if that. There’s a whole lot of John Boyega, though.
