ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD, Brad Pitt plays DiCaprio's Stunt Double for Tarantino!

Hey Everyone Freddy Beans here;

Last night we received some updates on Quentin Tarantino’s new film titled “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” from Indiewire!

Sony pictures has confirmed that Leonardo DiCaprio will star as Rick Dalton a former star of an old western TV series and his stunt double on that show Cliff Booth will be played by Brad Pitt.  These two struggling actors are trying to make it in a La La Land they don’t recognize anymore all while living next door to a neighbor who has reached the levels they desire, one Sharon Tate.   Margot Robbie is also rumored to be in this one, I’m thinking as Sharon, but let’s hope that rumor is true regardless of what role she plays.

Quentin says the story takes place at the height of hippy Hollywood in 1969.  August 1969 Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson family in truly brutal fashion.  Whether that is the backdrop to the story or as the crux of the film I think it’s clear the Manson murders will be explored in depth here.  I really haven’t seen a good film on the Manson family since “Helter Skelter” so let’s hope that’s exactly what this is.  Then again I’m morbid and like the dark stuff, so looking forward to chaos is my thing.  Add in Quentin and personally speaking there’s no way you won’t find me snuggled into a theater seat on opening night.

This will be the directors 9th film and if he sticks to his current plans of 10 movies and done then after this we only get one more.  Though Quentin has stated that if he makes his STAR TREK, that will not count towards retirement.  I for one hope this retirement falls in line with a typical boxers retirement, where they take a year off and come back the very next year because in reality they just couldn’t stay away.  Imagining a landscape without another Quentin movie on the horizon, the prospect honestly makes me a little sad.  That or if he’s only got one more in him truly, then as a personal favor to me can you please do “Kill Bill 3.”  Yeah, yeah, I know the timing isn’t ideal with Uma’s recent stunt driving revelations but my desires should surmount any personal issues those two may still harbor, right?

“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is set for release on August 9, 2019.

With the setting, the director and now the actors confirmed I am very excited to see this one.  In the interest of fairness, I will go see a Dora the Explorer episode if Quentin directed it so there is that.

Until next time Kids
