"The Death of Stalin" gets a Red Band Trailer!

 Hola Dannie aqui,

In preparation for its March 9th release in the grand ole U.S. of A., they have released a hilariously foul-mouthed red band trailer for "The Death of Stalin." Here is the witty, dark comedies trailer read on for a bit more information hope you all enjoy the trailer as much as I did.

"The Death of Stalin" takes place slightly before and after Stalin's death and the chaos that ensued. The film stars one of my absolute favorite actors, Steve Buscemi ("Reservoir Dogs," "Ghost World," and "Fargo"), the amazing Jeffrey Tambor ("Transparent," "Arrested Development," and "Hellboy"), Simon Russell Beale (1996's "Hamlet" and "Into the Woods"), Paddy Considine ("24 Hour Party People" "Hot Fuzz" and "The Worlds End"), Rupert Friend ("The Boy in Striped Pajamas" and "Pride & Prejudice"), Jason Isaacs ("The Patriot," "Black Hawk Down," and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"), Michael Palin ("Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Monty Pythons The Meaning of Life" "A Fish Called Wanda" and "TIME BANDITS" ), and Andrea Riseborough ("Birdman" "Oblivion" and YouTubes "WACO"). Taking the directors chair on this controversial noir comedy is Armando Iannucci who many may recognize from his work on 2009's "In The Loop" or his work on television shows such as "VEEP,"  "The Thick of It," and "The Armando Iannucci Show" from back in 2001. Iannucci also sat down at the writer's table with fellow writers David Schneider ("All the Queens Men"), Ian Martin ("VEEP" and "In the Loop"), Peter Fellows ("Concrete Castles") and screenplay writer Fabien Nury. The screenplay is based on the comic "The Death of Stalin" also written by Fabien Nury and Thierry Robin for those of you who have not yet read them,  find your local comic shop now, they are eye and mind candy. I really look forward to reviewing this one it looks right up my alley the film has been getting flooded with compliments the biggest one being banned from Mother Russia!

Stay Strong, Live Good, Love Movies!
