Well, folks, this is what I live for insane foreign films! May I introduce you to "Goalkeeper of the Galaxy" a Russian Sci-Fi film directed by Dzhanik Fayziev who directed the films "FURIOUS," "AUGUST. EIGHTH" and 2005's "TURETSKIY GAMBIT."
I am pretty darn excited, the trailer looks amazing visually but does not give us much plot-wise I am going to have to hunt this film down! Here is the trailer let us know what you all think!
Goalkeeper of the Galaxy is set for release in Russia in January of 2019, I guess we have quite a wait ahead of us. I have found out that the film will have demigod-like figures that play some sort of futuristic soccer for the future of Earth? Crazy! I will be keeping my blue eyes focused on this project and can not wait to see the film, please powers that be grant us an American release, as this looks fun as hell!
