Today the good folks at Deadline.com broke a story about the popular young actress Millie Bobby Brown otherwise known as Eleven from Netflix's hit show "Stranger Things." In a deal signed with Legendary Pictures, Millie Bobby Brown has agreed to tackle the role of Enola Holmes a character from the novels by Nancy Springer the above pictured being the first of the series (The Case of the Missing Marquess" from 2006). The series of six books follows the mysterious adventures of Sherlock, Mycroft, and their little sister Enola Holmes. Now not only has Millie been cast in the starring role, she is also set to take on the role of producer as well, so here is wishing her all the best in her endeavors both on and off of the screen!
The project has yet to release much more information, however, I will keep my ear to the ground and am truly hoping for a film or series of films in the spirit of 1985's masterpiece "Young Sherlock Holmes" a darkly horrific mystery that if you have not seen you really should give it a gander afterwards I see many buying the exquisite soundtrack!
