Precious Roy has fun with the de-frightened but relevant SHARING THINGS, a Sesame Street STRANGER THINGS parody!

 Hola Dannie aqui,
Our Floridian sock puppet Precious Roy takes a look at Sesame Streets "Sharing Things" read on and enjoy!

Hi kids, Precious Roy here... okay, this is a few days old, but we couldn't let it go: Sesame Street released their parody of Stranger Things, Sharing Things!
The Street has been doing a hilarious job of parodying very adult shows for kids and slipping in those messages about community and ethics that it always has. Their Walking Dead parody was brilliant, but I think Sharing Things does an even better job of teaching the fun of Halloween and sharing!
The parody has Cookie Monster as the Cookiegorgon. Having eaten all the food in Snackside Down, the Cookiegorgon is on his way to eat our adventuring party's Halloween treats or any else he can get his furry mitts on. Ernie is playing Dustin (there's great casting!), Bert is D'Artagnan/Dart, and Grover is playing Lucas! Puppet Joyce is inspired parody. And Eleven is played by... an actual number eleven. The message is simple and sweet. It even has (a tiny bit of) #JusticeForBarb in it, too.
Barb herself (Shannon Purser) shared it on Twitter, and Mr. Clarke (Randy Havens, see photo) responded. I love the way small elements like Mad Max, 8, and Bob are incorporated well to teaching. Well done, Sesame Street! Does a puppet proud.
Okay, back to the sock drawer. Fund public works, SUCKERS!
Precious Roy out!
