Mad Dashiell joins THE MAGIC ORDER

Hello all, Mad Dashiell here with very exciting news today, happy your hear to join us, sit a spell-

Put on your cloaks and brush up on your secret hand shakes because the creator of WANTED, KICK ASS, and the action-packed spy thriller killer series the KINGSMAN has announced that his first comic book project will be coming to Netflix. I'll say that again, Netflix is doing a Mark MIllar comic book... The project will be Millar's incredible THE MAGIC ORDER, The drama will follow 5 families as they attempt to keep the world from falling into the clutches of darkness and unknown threats while remaining hidden among humanity in secret. The series will be illustrated by Olivier Coipel.

"We wanted to make a splash with our first book for Netflix and this is it," Millar went on to add in a statement. "I love dark fantasy and there’s an enormous gap in the market for something like this. Netflix hiring Olivier has also made me the happiest guy alive. I’ve been after him for almost ten years so to finally have our names in the same book is an absolute honor."

The first 6 issues beginning running in Spring 2018. The series will be in both printed and digital formats. MIllar has stated that he planned on creating around 20 comic book issues annually for the company, new concepts and a series appearing regularly alongside existing properties.

Thank you all for joining me, Mad Dashiell over and out.

Mad Dashiell Space for Rant: If you're a Millar fan like myself then you know how amazing the writer's stories can be. WANTED was a horrible debacle when transferred to film. I loved following the story of the Universe all the heroes died in. The fact that it is the same world WOLVERINE: OLD MAN LOGAN takes place in is also incredible. If you don't follow his work, you should start now. I find him right up there with Ed Brubaker as one of the modern comics greats. For his new project, I think he had me the second I smelled him writing some Dr. Strangian salute with Magick intrigue... Yeah, I'm sold. Bring it on Mark!
