Greetings geeks, Big Eyes here!
Here’s something different for AICN: a long-running webcomic is striving to get ANIMATED. “Goblins” is a tabletop role-playing game based webcomic by Tarol “Thunt” Stephens. It follows a party of goblins who started off as monsters and decided to be player characters.
The comics appear to be well written with good humor. I’m not a huge fan of the art style, but the previous traits are definitely things that can make me overlook the art.
Some legendary voice acting names have been attached to the project. Phil LaMarr (“Samurai Jack”, “Futurama”), Billy West (“Ren & Stimpy”, “Futurama”). And Steve Blum! He’s in so much anime and video gaming. My friends and I used to joke about Steve Blum being “The Voice Acting Whore” because he just showed up in seemingly everything from 2003 to today still!
