Hola Dannie aqui!
With a new clip from the heavily anticiapted new Marvel (fingers crossed great?) movie Thor Ragnarok. So far this clip continues to reinforce the light hearted Thor.... I personally think if he (Thor) truly lost Mjölnir (aka Mjǫllnir in Old Norse) his hammer, Thor would be utterly devastated emotionally and would have a hard time moving on without some um... anger as well as fear. To me, I am worried about the improv comedic like nature, as well I am hoping the film makers balance this with adult complexities and respect to the mythos of the charecters true nature. I understand they want to sell toys, as a parent I can state "If I hate the movie I never bought my kid a toy from it, reinforcing mediocrity is not something I try to do".
AICN (spys like us ya know) found some amazing art I am posting before the clip! Fitting with the Ragnarok's plot that pits Thor and the Hulk against one another in the gladiatorial ring, South Korea's poster is a tribute to Gim Hong-do's classical "Sangbak" painting from the late 1700's as an artist I am totally geeking out over South Korea's amazing awesomess! I love head knods to art history!
First Gim Hong-do's classical "Sangbak" painting from the late 1700's
Now the awesome tribute to a master, Marvel-ed in South Korea
And now the clip you all have been waiting for!
Coolness, and more Coolness!
