Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm quite fond of Wes Anderson's output and I particularly loved his dive into animation with Fantastic Mr. Fox. So, consider me pleasantly surprised to see that stop motion animation style continue into this new animated feature, called Isle of Dogs.
Sporting an epic cast that includes Anderson regulars and newcomers alike. Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bob Balaban, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Liev Schreiber, Scarlett Johansson, Fisher Stevens, Ken Watanabe, Greta Gerwig, Bryan Cranston and even Yoko Ono voice characters in this one.
I know for some Anderson's style is too whimsical, but for me it's like a comfort blanket. It makes me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Here's the trailer, give it a look!
