Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm quickly becoming a fan of Jaume Collet-Serra's work. He's finding an interesting niche in making really slick, high-profile exploitation films. The Shallows was way more fun than it had any right to be, Orphan was one of the better out of left field horror movies to hit cinema screens in a long time and now he's working on Jungle Cruise with Dwayne Johnson.
Before he sets sail with The Rock, though, he has a Liam Neeson flick that reminds me a whole lot of the '90s high concept thriller trend that included stuff like The Game and Nick of Time.
Vera Farmiga joins Neeson as well as Jonathan Banks (Mike!!!), Sam Neill and Patrick Wilson in this crazy looking bit of fun dropping in January. Check out the trailer below:
It's not gonna win any Oscars, but that thing looks really fun to me. What do you guys think?
