Hey folks, Harry here... I'm beaming happy about how IT performed this weekend at the box office. In 3 days, it is already the number 5 Highest Grossing Horror Film of All Time. Which is crazy, but then... Horror has been growing as a genre, slow and steady... but with super small budgets - and to get an expertly crafted and told classic horror tale by the King himself... well, it makes me hope that Hollywood will see that putting a bit of money into horror, could give a massive return on investment. Only WONDER WOMAN and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 grossed more for their opening weekends, but their budgets were 5-8 times IT's.
IT completely has my brain in HALLOWEEN mode - and there's a new documentary about extreme Haunted Houses for Halloween called HAUNTERS: THE ART OF THE SCARE. In Two weeks, I'll be able to catch this at Fantastic Fest! Here... check out the trailer:
If you can't make it to FANTASTIC FEST - this doc will be hitting October 3rd on Digital and Blu Ray!
Keep it cool,
Harry
P.S. What's the scariest Haunted House experience you've ever had?
