Hey folks, Harry here... now this sounds like a great movie, THE CURRENT WAR - which features Benedict Cumberbatch as Thomas Edison, Michael Shannon as George Westinghouse and Nicholas Hoult as Nikola Tesla- and is the film about the origins of our Electrical Age. One that is dire need of being overhauled and transformed. It is fun to hear Edison talking about Electrical Carriages - that Elon Musk is finally brought to market a century later. You see that new Electrical Jet? Or the electric flying cars? Things are getting interesting, but we still have so much further to push the potential of electricity which is free for all if only you reroof your house with Elon Musk's Solar shingles. So cool.
Alfonso Gomez-Rejon has directed this film, I loved his ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL! And his work on AMERICAN HORROR STORY has been outstanding, but with this story, this cast and a production that just looks lush and beautiful like this... How could it go wrong? Check out the trailer:
