Hey folks, Harry here... We've seen furious films before... In this film, Joaquin Phoenix plays a man that can get stuff done. And he can be rough about it. He's been employed by a Senator to get his daughter, who has been kidnapped by a Child Sex Ring - and.. well... it's hammer time. Now the film is by Lynne Ramsay - the director behind RATCATCHER, MORVERN CALLAR and WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN. What that means is YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE is going to feel... entirely present. Lynne's direction thus far has given us completely real feeling grittiness. Her films hurt and feel like you're on the edge of trauma - and this trailer is no different. This looks GREAT!
This film will probably require a stiff drink afterwards. But I don't know when that'll be as it does not yet have a domestic release date!
