Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I love it when Darren Aronofsky goes creepy. I mean, I love it when Darren Aronofsky makes any movie, be it thriller or biblical epic, but I particularly dig the vibe he strikes when he flirts with darkness.
Black Swan and even Requiem For A Dream really get under your skin and I have high hopes for mother! to do the same.
The latest bit of marketing for this movie is a poster that looks a whole hell of a lot like another movie famous for creeping everyone out.
I'd ask you to guess it, but I'd bet the vast majority of you called it right away. That's undeniably an homage to Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby.
Does that mean we're getting a Satanic panic movie from Aronofsky or is it just something in a similar tone? I guess we'll find out next month when the flick hits screens.
