Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Vince Vaughn stars in the gritty, violent follow-up film from Bone Tomahawk writer/director S. Craig Zahler. The flick is about a brute who ends up in the drug business, which puts him on the wrong end of the law. He ends up in prison and everyone is out for his blood. The inmates, the guards, the warden. Vaughn is joined by the likes of Don Johnson, Udo Kier and Jennifer Carpenter.
In the hands of someone like Zahler that sounds like it could be crazy good. It also sounds a teensy bit like Riki-Oh, but I doubt this movie could even come within a mile of how violent and gory that classic is.
I'll be seeing it at Fantastic Fest this year, but it's not a long wait for movie nerds around the country as this one bows theatrically October 6th and On Demand October 13th.
