Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Surburicon looks freaking awesome. Full stop. I love the Coen Brothers' characters and plotting, I adore George Clooney's eye as a director (Good Night and Good Luck is still one of my favorite movies of the aughts) and Matt Damon is quickly becomming one of my favorite screen presences.
I apologize for the tardiness of this post. The trailer hit yesterday when I was in the middle of my IT insanity (ITsanity?) and I'm afraid I neglected this badass trailer in favor of posting a ton of interviews with scary clowns and the kids trying to killing them.
But this trailer is too good to keep off the site, so I figure better late than never. There might be a few of you out there who haven't gotten a chance to see it yet and everybody should check it out.
Righteous, right? This is apparently a script the Coens wrote in the '80s and never got around to making and I'll be damned if it doesn't have a bit of that early Coen bite to it. Terrible people doing terrible things to other terrible people. And that picture perfect '50s suburbia setting is so choice. It feels right to me. This whole thing. I flat out can't wait to see this one.
