Erasing Superman's mustache? How about erasing Brando's Frank & Beans? JUSTICE LEAGUE

Hey folks, Harry here...  Joss Whedon is thigh deep in additional shoots to complete the post-production process on JUSTICE LEAGUE after a grief-stricken Zack Snyder chose family over career.   But in doing this, the always planned additional shoots have been beefed up, requiring more time to shoot than was originally planned.   So it's bled into Henry Cavill's work on the new MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movie, which he's grown a mustache for - and well - he's going to be getting a digital shave.  Given Cavill has had every pore of his body digitially scanned with an electron microscope at this point, it's probably far less big of a deal than it's being made.   But this is the exact sort of shit that the public loves to go Meme crazy over.   And that's fine.  Given the horrors of reality - silly distractions are fun, just so long as you call your Senators regarding the ACA repeal bullshit they're trying to jam through.

But I mentioned Marlon Brando's Frank & Beans being erased.   That's, of course, a reference to Brando's Cock & Balls.   When Brando was shooting ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU for New Line - he didn't like how he looked in long shots - and that giant white tent thing they dressed him in was - agreeably awful.   So Brando decided to wear no undergarments - and this would require the filmmakers to shoot tight on him.   Well, Brando didn't realize that his free swinging act of resistence would require a digital artist to repeatedly erase his privates from the long shots - so they could be included in the film.   To me - this has always been my favorite ridiculous tale of digital emasculation... be it manhood or mustaches...  it's all worth the giggle we're having.

Seriously though - wouldn't you rather discuss that JUSTICE LEAGUE sizzle piece from COMIC CON more?

See - isn't that better?   Now - go call your Senator and be a real hero!

Keep it cool,

Harry
