“The Strain” is a little like “Daybreakers” now. A nuclear winter has blotted out the sun and the vampires are running everything now, offering humans affordable health care in return for a plentiful blood supply. Dutch and Eph and Fet and Zach are all having separate adventures in this Fanged New World, which brings a new vitality to this series as it enters its final season. One question that remains unanswered for many episodes to come: Is vampire hunter Abraham Setrakian still alive?
