Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, who launched the Marvel Screen Universe nine years ago in “Iron Man” and has not been glimpsed since Joss Whedon’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in 2015, will be back for 2019’s “Captain Marvel,” according to sources in the know.
It's still uncertain whether Jackson's Fury will appear in next year's “Infinity War.” Jackson skipped the third Captain America movie after appearing in the first two.
Jackson’s Fury, who appeared in two episodes of ABC’s “Agents of SHIELD," has graced seven motion pictures to date:

Jackson first appeared as Fury in print (sort of) in 2002 when artist Bryan Hitch decided to model The Ultimates’ Nick Fury's appearance on Jackson. I wonder if the onscreen version has yet met either of the Wasps?
