“What do you see?” begins episode two of Spike’s “The Mist,” and one thing nobody sees tonight is a giant bug. The action is divided mostly between The Mall (giant windows!), The Church (giant stained-glass windows!) and The Police Station (smaller windows, so it’s soon abandoned!). The mall’s electronics store sells a camera-equipped drone, one of many things that never appeared in Stephen King’s 1980 novella.

The Mist has settled over town as Eve, Alex, and other mallgoers try to manage the rising panic. Meanwhile, Kevin, Adrian, Mia, and Jonah venture out into the mist to get to Kevin's family.
The third season of “Zoo,” launching tonight, takes place 10 years into the future.
