Hey folks, Harry here... We still have no idea about BLADE RUNNER 2049... But everything we see looks damn fine. But BLADE RUNNER is a hard act to follow. The cloud tanks used created such a beautiful sense of atmosphere - and Douglas Trumbull was the mad genius behind the scenes concocting amazing imagery that hasn't aged a day. 30 years from now, will we be able to say the same on any of the films we see this year? VFX are getting so intricate, that they become the distraction - all on their own. I'm not seeing big warning signs on this film - it seems to be doing and saying all the right things. Here, check it and see...
Isn't that great? Though, could Harrison Ford be less convincing when he says what a pleasure it was getting back to the world of BLADE RUNNER?
