‘Maybe Get A Little LOST!!’
Hercules Fucking Loves HBO’s Last Ever Episode Of THE LEFTOVERS!!

I am – Hercules!!

The Leftovers 3.8 FAQ

What’s it called?
“The Book Of Nora.”

Who’s responsible?
Story is credited to Tom Spezialy & Damon Lindelof; teleplay is credited to Tom Perrotta & Damon Lindelof.

What says HBO?
“Nothing is answered. Everything is answered. And then it ends.”

Is it any good?
I could not imagine a better ending. “The Book of Nora” is a remarkable episode. Suspenseful, thrilling, smart and moving. Lindelof, Perrotta & Co. have, if you will, stuck a rather ambitious landing.

Does the episode open with a flashback?
I’m saying no. There’s no rain.

How does it start?
“My name is Nora Elizabeth Jamison Durst.”

Are doctors Eden and Bekker back?
Oh yes.

Does anyone “go through” this week?
This question is at the very crux of the episode and the series as a whole.

What’s doing with Jill and Laurie?
Amy Brenneman is back this week. Jill and brother Tommy do not appear but we learn something about them.

Is Nora’s doppelganger back?
If she weren’t, you’d demand your money back, wouldn’t you? A better question might be, “Does Nora’s doppelganger speak with an Australian accent?” Or maybe, “Is Nora the only one with a doppelganger in this episode?”

Does the Reverend Matt Jamison keep his clothes on?
He does. His sister, not so much.

The big news?
We get where. And new theories will form as to why.

What else is HBO not telling us?
There’s perhaps more “Lost” DNA in this episode than usual. Iris DeMent’s “Let The Mystery Be” returns as the series’ title song.

What’s good?
Carrie Coon as Nora Elizabeth Jamison Durst. The considerable Carrie Coon nudity. The knock at the door. The three tones. The cat-hat. “She knows you’re here?” “It’s a fossil. The person is gone.” “Can you hold your breath for 30 seconds?” “You said that I was the bravest girl on Earth.” “Does the name Kevin mean anything to you?” “We don’t know each other really well.” “Why would I have a picture of you?” “I don’t tell the people here about you.” “I’m just surprised, that’s all.” “Oh? Says who?” “Want to see my scar?” “I will never sin again.” “It might be!” “They said I should look him up, and I did.” The goat.

What’s not so good?
After Sunday, no more.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
“I’m here.”

9 p.m. Sunday. HBO.
