Hey folks, Harry here.... Deadline is reporting that actor Ludi Lin, who was the Black Ranger in the POWER RANGERS movie, will be playing MURK - the leader of the Front Line Army that defends Atlantis. It is most likely a small part, but who knows. He's yet another Geoff Johns created character that's being put into AQUAMAN, joining Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Patrick Wilson and Temuera Morrison.
I don't know about you, but I'm far more curious to see WONDER WOMAN and AQUAMAN than JUSTICE LEAGUE at this point. Just in what we've seen of WONDER WOMAN thus far, you can feel that it feels different from the Snyderverse. Sure - it's a part of it, but I like having fresh blood directing. I'm still looking forward to JUSTICE LEAGUE, but I really do wish it was on the otherside of all the individual stories.
Then Matt Reeves directing THE BATMAN... changing that project quite a bit from what it sounds like - and with WAR OF THE PLANET OF THE APES coming. With rumors that Black Adam will be appearing sooner than we expect... I wonder if he'll appear somehow in WONDER WOMAN or JUSTICE LEAGUE or AQUAMAN. The mythical nature of BLACK ADAM feels more likely for WONDER WOMAN - perhaps a post credit scene - though DC ain't done that yet really. Hmmmmm.... The DC verse is getting interesting. Hope they get it all together!
