Another surprise! “The Exorcist,” the Friday hourlong which quickly sank to ratings lows that “Fringe” never touched before "Fringe" was cancelled by Fox, has been renewed for a second season by the same network.
Garnering strong reviews, the demon drama’s 10-episode first season began with a okay 1.0 in the key adults 18-49 demo before sinking to a bottom-dwelling 0.6 for the latter half of that season:
