Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. There's a bit of indie casting news that caught my eye while scanning for news today. Again, it's another interesting ensemble that intrigues me.
Deadline has a story about a movie called SAINT JUDY starring Michelle Monaghan and Alfred Molina getting the great Alfre Woodard onboard.
Saint Judy is a biopic about an imigration lawyer Judy Wood (Monaghan) who made history when defending an Afghani woman, forever changing US immigration laws pertaining to women seeking asylum.
Woodard will play Judge Benton, a central figure in Wood's journey to making history.
A good cast goes a long way to getting me interested in a project and Saint Judy already got that locked down. What do you folks think?
