Latest (and possibly last) film collaboration from Monty Python gets US release!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Absolutely Anything is a flick conceived of, featuring and directed by members of Monty Python. It was made years ago and saw release in the UK and other territories in 2015, but never made it stateside... until now.

A smaller distribution house called Atlas has decided to release the film on limited US screens on May 12th, less than 2 weeks from today. The movie is directed by Python's Terry Jones and features the voices of the rest of the surviving gang, including John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam as aliens who give a random schlub on Earth (Simon Pegg) the powers of the universe as a sort of test to decide if humans are worth existing or not.

Also of note is this was one of Robin Williams' last movies. He voices Pegg's dog and you'll get a good amount of that work in the trailer below.

Looks silly and I've heard some negative things from my friends in the UK, but with that pedigree I'm of course going to give it a shot. What about you?
