Hey folks, Harry here... I'm not much for the recent advent of turning dates into Official Days for classic movies. Had a friend ask me what was up for MAY 4th for me, and well, seeing GUARDIANS 2 film in IMAX 3D that day... but otherwise no plans and then got chastized for forgetting MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU, which is a groaner. For me, STAR WARS DAY is 5-25-77 forever. And ALIEN DAY is 5-25-79. And ya know what - you can celebrate both birthdays at once!!!
Of course, where's the fun with that. It doesn't harm anyone to have these made up holidays - Just so long as your remember the actual day of release of the greatest fucking Sci Fi movies of all time! But in the meanwhile, if you're a fan - you sit back and watch all the Merch releases, the special footage and you just smile - as we're living in an age where we're spoilt with every geeky delight you can imagine, like...
Take this PROLOGUE - like that Party before Cryosleep scene we saw earlier this year, this is a set up piece - most likely shot for the movie, but when cut for timing, was made use for a day like yesterday. It picks up where PROMETHEUS left off - and it is spectacular!
Isn't that - just killer?
