Ahoy, squirts! Quint here, newly returned from nearly a week in Orlando, surrouned by Star Wars and Disney Parks nerdery. I guess nothing's really changed too much since my house is also decked out with a ridiculous amount of Star Wars and Haunted Mansion trinkets.
Patiently waiting for me upon my return was the news that we're getting a new Guillermo del Toro movie this December. December 8th, 2017, to be exact.
Fox Searchlight announced it with a neat little graphic that also tells you a little about his new movie, The Shape of Water. Check it out:
Any new Guillermo del Toro movie is something to celebrate, especially we don't get nearly as many of them as we would like. This one in particular sounds very del Toro-y and I can't wait to see it.
Plus, with this one out of the way at the end of the year then maybe we'll get him to shift gears and give us all the great Haunted Mansion movie we so desperately need in our lives. And by we I of course mean me. Because I really want that movie. Like, a lot.
