Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I love me some Aubrey Plaza. Her dry cynicism does it for me, what can I say? Whether it's Parks & Recs' April Ludgate or her zombie turn in the underrated Life After Beth she's always a welcome personality for me.
And this flick, Ingrid Goes West, seems to be Aubrey Plaza at her most Aubrey Plaza-iest. Her first two lines in this Red Band trailer alone are about as perfect a match of material to actor as I've seen this year.
The movie bowed at Sundance and was picked up by Neon, the new distribution outlet founded by Alamo's Tim League and Radius' Tom Quinn. I was sadly not at Sundance this year, but I'm very excited to see the movie when it comes out.
