Disney CEO Bob Iger says the Lucasfilm creative team is already hard at work on post-Episode-IX adventures and “what could be another decade and a half of ‘Star Wars’ stories.”
So they’re only thinking to 2032??
Given that “Star Wars” turns 40 this year, shouldn’t Disney be planning at least 40 more years?
Iger also revealed th untitled Han Solo prequel will follow Princess Leia’s future love interest from age 18 to 24.
Co-scripted by Lawrence Kasdan (“The Empire Strikes Back,” “The Force Awakens”) and directed by “Lego Movie” masterminds Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the solo Solo movie will deal with the space smuggler “acquiring a certain vehicle and meeting a certain Wookiee,” he said.
“You’ll also discover how he got his name,” allowed Iger.
