Hey folks, Harry here... I've known J.A. Bayona since before he had a feature. It was at Sitges International Film Festival, where he was showing his short Superhero film, SPONGE MAN ( EL HOMBRE ESPONJA), which I later played at BNAT in 2002. It felt like 100% vintage Amblin. Beautifully shot - and he was full of personality. Since then, I've been rooting him on - because he kicks all the ass with THE ORPHANAGE, A MONSTER CALLS and his two PENNY DREADFULS... But today - he tweeted out this image from the followup to the blockbuster, JURASSIC WORLD, a film that people seem to love to disparage, but that I love - and that Muldoon here at the site is kinda unrepentedly obsessed with!
Moody shot. I like it. Very anxious to see what kind of film Bayona has in store for us, the DP is Oscar Faura who has been working with J.A. Bayona since a video they did together in 2004, but they've done all of Bayona's feature work - and having loved those - we're in amazing hands.
Now - when do we get a trailer ? Or hey, how about a title? giggle
