Welcome, all, to the 13th Annual AICN COMICS @$$IE AWARDS, where comics best and brightest are recognized for stellar (and sometimes not so stellar) performances in comic bookdom. I’m Mark L. Miller aka Ambush Bug, editor for AICN COMICS / AICN HORROR.
Usually, I add the In Memoriam section at the end of the Wednesday @$$ies column, but I feel that this year, it would be better if we just reserve a column on its own for those who have passed in the comics industry over the last year. Prof. Challenger has been a reviewer for AICN COMICS for ages and he always goes out of his way to make this piece one of the most heart-breaking and most honorable tributes of the @$$ies week.
