Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. It's apparently Alien day on AICN. We got the new poster (a nice call back to the original Alien one-sheet) and I posted my posthumous AICN Legends interview with Bill Paxton where he shares a bunch of Aliens stories (including one about Bill Murray visiting the set!)... You'd think that'd be enough, but the Alien Gods are smiling down on us and gave us a new, badass Alien: Covenant trailer.
What's interesting to me about the vibe of this trailer is it seems like it's equal parts Prometheus, Alien and Aliens. Maybe that's just the tone of the trailer, trying to tickle the nostalgia buttons in our brains, and it won't be as heavy on that iconography in the movie itself, but it damn sure seems like it will be.
No matter what it's going to look gorgeous and we're going to see a hell of a fun cast playing in this universe.
