SCREENING IS FULL
Hey folks, Harry here... Ok - you've heard the news... Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman have both settled upon LOGAN being both of their swan songs as Professor Xavier and the Wolverine. To those lucky few of us that have already seen the movie, the news makes all the sense, but at the same time... LOGAN IS SO FUCKING GREAT YOU'LL WANT MORE. That 17 years in these rules results in only one fucking perfect fucking movie is a bit enraging... BUT... HEY... IT IS HERE! A perfect X-MEN film. A film with such beautiful subtlety in character moments and such joyous beserker fucking awesome in others. The second I finished watching LOGAN at the press screening on the 16th, I wrote my contact at Fox to see if I could get a screening for the local Austin faithful.
And we got one!

So we began this journey 17 years ago, I remember there was so much doubt of the first X-MEN film being acceptable that even some of the producers didn't attend the premiere - and the word was toxic. I got to see the film a week early - and was so greatly relieved it was not only not a complete disaster, but there was room to grow these characters in the roles.
As you watch Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman in LOGAN... Realize. This is it. This is what it was all building towards - and then clap, cheer and cry with others that feel exactly the same. LOGAN is not just the great X-MEN film, it's a great film. Finally giving Wolverine the legendary wow we've always wanted!
