After a long run of marginally more complex and cinematic ads, SNL returns to its old-school promos this week:
“The Huntsman: Winter’s War” hit cinemas April 22. Longtime visual effects supervisor Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (“Snow White and the Huntsman”) made his feature directorial debut from a screenplay by Craig Mazin (“The Hangover II” and “The Hangover III”) and Evan Spiliotopoulos (2014’s “Hercules”). “Huntsman” earned positive reviews from eight percent of “top critics” polled by the Rotten Tomatoes website. Eight!
I bet Kristen Stewart is glad she wasn’t in that one.
