“Westworld” will be back with a second season, likely in 2018.
Last week:
* Maeve froze Bernard’s motor fuctions.
* William asked Logan for help freeing Dolores from Westworld.
* We learned what became of the curious Elsie.
* William saw Dolores was full of wires and pistons.
* Charlotte told the Man In Black that Teresa died “trying to secure our information.”
* “That’s why you’re here,” MIB said to Charlotte. “You want my vote to push Ford out.”
* “I like these things to be unanimous. After all, it was you who kept Ford in business all those years ago,” Charlotte replied.
* “The narratives I’m interested in aren’t Ford’s. You want to push him out, be my guest,” responded MIB. “But no more interruptions. I know where I’m going now and I don’t want to be disturbed.”
* The man investigating Elsie’s disappearance failed to freeze all motor functions of a trio of robot Native Americans.
* BernArnold? “It wouldn’t be right to use his name,” Ford told a newly activated Bernard. “After such a long absence, it’s good to have you back. Finally.”
* “You told me to follow the maze. That it would bring me joy,” Bernard said to Dolores. “But all I’ve found is pain. And terror.”
* Dolores remembered she killed Arnold.
* “Pull the trigger, Clementine,” Bernard ordered.
* “Goodbye, my friend,” Ford bid Bernard.
HBO says of tonight’s “The Bicameral Mind”:
“Ford (Anthony Hopkins) unveils his bold new narrative; Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) embraces her identity; Maeve (Thandie Newton) sets her plan in motion.”
