Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The column took a long break while I got the Holiday Gift Guide in order. Apologies for the hiatus, but we're back on track now and kicking off the final stretch of 2016 with a real doozy.
There are a handful of cinematic moments that impact pop culture to such an extent that everybody can recognize them. Gene Kelly singing in the rain, the shark popping out of the water as Brody chums, Luke blowing up the Death Star, Rick and Elsa tearful goodbye while standing on the tarmac and Marilyn Monroe standing on a subway grate.
Most contemporary movie-goers might not know the title of the movie, but they will always know the scene from Billy Wilder's The Seven Year Itch and today's BTS pic gives us a glimpse at that scene, the moment movie magic was made.
