Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a new BTS pic for you. I've been trying to come up with a decent pic to post since the election results came in, but nothing really jumped out at me until I came across this one, which just kinda called out to me.
It could be because I wanted the comfort of my favorite film that drew me to this image or it could be the symbolism of a crazed madman taking the wheel, but I think it might be deeper than that. Jaws is a perfect film that was born out of disaster. Everything went wrong, but through talent, perseverence and determination that crew managed to make it through the misery of the situation and gave us an all-timer that changed the (film) world. In short, it's a picture that reminds us to hope.
It's also just a cool image, showing the relatively rag tag crew lounging around the Orca as Robert Shaw pilots the boat into the shallows towards the end of the film.
Gonna stick in my comfort zone for another day or two, so prepare for another great Spielberg shot tomorrow. It's a cool pic, but it's probably a good idea not to look direclty at it.
