Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Arrival is great. I'll have a full review sooner than later, but trust me when I say that it's "one of the best of the year" good.
The trailers and marketing materials so far have been great at selling the mystery, but they do kind of make the movie look a tad cold. That's absolutely not the case. In fact there's an emotional core at the center of this film that is one of my favorite pieces of character building I've seen in 2016.
Now I'm being all mysterious! I just don't want to spoil the experience for you. Luckily the marketing is bound and determined to make sure you go in pretty unspoiled. Today Paramount dropped the final poster (above) and trailer.
The trailer's a little misleading, but all for the greater good. You'll see what I mean when you catch the flick. In the meantime enjoy this new trailer!
