Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. JK Rowling announced today in a big ol' Global Fan Event promoting the first Wizarding World of Harry Potter spin-off/prequel/whatever FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM that fans can expect four more Fantastic Beasts films.
Originally thought to be a trilogy of new stories about wizards and witches it seems that Warners is super happy to keep those Potter dollars pouring in and Rowling herself has been bitten by the creativity bug, having now plotted out a total of five films.
Director David Yates also added that the next film will follow Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander to another global capital city, but wouldn't say which one.
The more the merrier, I say. As long as they keep up the quality, keep pumping them out! What do you folks think?
