A WW2-era serial killer flick SILENT NIGHT is the most exciting movie in production you don't know about!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Every once in a while you read about a film project and the very idea behind the film gets you amped for it. The only names attached to this project, called Silent Night, right now are ones you won't recognize. Producers and a first-time screenwriter, but the idea is so damn good that you'll want to see this movie survive the development stage.

Deadline has the story about Fox International picking up this script from a new screenwriter named James Luckard. It's a serial killer movie set in 1941 Berlin about the unlikely team-up of an SS-appointed investigator and a Jewish profiler/criminal psychologist who have to work together to track down a killer of young women.

See, told you it was an awesome set-up. Reminds me a little about the amazing backdrop to something like The Third Man.

It might just be all the My Favorite Murder podcasts I've been listening to lately, but this one has shot way up on my must-see list. Can't wait to see who they land to star and direct.

What do you folks think?
