Hey folks, Harry here... Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE is a curious thing. I can't not be looking forward to it. I like the dynamics of his approach to MAN OF STEEL and BATMAN V SUPERMAN, but the best of it all was the Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman take down of DOOMSDAY. When Diana has SuperCaveTroll wrapped up in her lasso, as Batman fires the Kryptonite Gas Bomb and Superman buries the Kryptonite Spear into the chest... sure, it isn't Legolas running up and putting an arrow through the roof of his mouth and out the back of the head... but then... it is SUPERMAN, BATMAN and the best of all, WONDER WOMAN.
I expect wondrous things from JUSTICE LEAGUE... I want some Kirby 4th World Technogasmic awesomery. I want to see the group fall into a real sense of teamwork and fun. And I think Zack is one of those Comic readers that edges towards Badass instead of Cool Fun. He wants things to have weight, and that can absolutely be a part of things. The horror of what they need to stop needs to be palpable, but not over-wrought. But what we really need is to see the JUSTICE LEAGUE after this film. We need Hall of Justice or the WatchTower... We need the heroes to get along, minor mission, then the big mission. Of course, what we really need is a completely separate period adaptation of NEW FRONTIERS helmed by Kerry Conran... but that's a personal fetish.
Personally - when Aquaman grabs Wonder Woman's sword after dropping his Trident... I just wanted to hear him bellow out, "OUTRAGEOUS!"
