Hey folks, Harry here... The word on this film and Natalie Portman's performance is quite strong. I'm not surprised. Natalie playing Jackie Kennedy is about as much a sure thing as you could hope for.
I mean, look at that poster - It's just correct. Pablo Larraîn, the director of JACKIE, first appeared on my radar with a rather terrific film called TONY MANERO. After that, he's returned with a run of very good, but underseen titles like POST MORTEM, NO, THE CLUB & NERUDA. All of which were strong historical & political tales. So JACKIE is right in his wheelhouse. Peter Saarsgard is playing Robert Kennedy, Greta Gerwig, Billy Crudup and John Hurt all are aboard too.
