Learn When Marvel’s
IRON FIST Hits Netflix!!

I am – Hercules!!

We’re not getting any “Thrones” this spring but we may be getting a dragon anyway. Thirteen episodes of “Iron Fist” are hitting Netflix March 17.

Finn Jones, who played Queen Margaery’s gay brother Loras on “Game of Thrones,” has been cast as the title character in Netflix’s “Iron Fist.”

In the comics Iron Fist is really Danny Rand, son of a wealthy entrepreneur who learns martial arts from immortal earthbound extraterrestrials to seek vengeance against the man responsible for the deaths of his parents.

Thanks to his defeat of an infamous dragon, Iron Fist can punch through just about anything.

Showunner on “Iron Fist” is Scott Buck, whose writing credits include network sitcoms “Coach,” “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “Nikki,” as well as the pay-cable hourlongs “Six Feet Under,” “Dexter” and “Rome.”

The Netflix version of Iron Fist will share the same universe as Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, Robert Downey’s Tony Stark, Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson, Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter, Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Paul Bettany’s Vision, etc. etc. etc.

A dirty foreigner like Charlie Cox, Jones also appeared in two 2010 episodes of “The Sarah Jane Adventures.”

Netflix describes:

“Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.”
