Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. One of the downsides of having posted somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-500 BTS shots over both incarnations of this column is that sometimes I get the feeling I might be double-posting an image I've used already.
Case in point: today's picture from The Empire Strikes Back. I know I've loved this particular image for years, but for the life of me I can't remember if I ran it back in the day and I'm just a bit too lazy to search it out... not that it'd matter much since a couple server migrations have turned most of the original run of the BtSPotD images into ? Boxes.
So, apologies if this is a repeat, but the image is too damn good to let slip by. It's one of the more recognizable scenes from the beginning of Empire. It began as a funny carry-over of the love triangle between Leia, Han and Luke and then became one of the most questionable moments in the Star Wars Saga when it was revealed that Luke and Leia were brother and sister.
The kiss is one thing, the perfect look on Han's face is another, but what I really love about this image is the framing. It's a work of art by itself, is it not?
