Following more than two years of hiatus, “Norm Macdonald Live” posted a new episode last Thursday featuring “The Office” creator Stephen Merchant. I watched Macdonald on “The Tonight Show” last Thursday and I don’t recall him saying a word about it!
According to the NML Wikipedia page we can expect upcoming episodes to feature interviews with Judd Apatow, Conan O’Brien, Bill Hader, Bobby Lee and Margaret Cho.
The new episodes represent the third season of the podcast, launched March 26, 2013. An 11-episode first season was followed by a year-long hiatus and then the launch of a second season launching May 12, 2014.
As the opening segment suggests, the timing of the third season may have something to do with the release of Macdonald’s new book “Based on a True Story: A Memoir,”
“Norm Macdonald Live” is one of the best talk shows in the history of history. Norm Macdonald is one funny bastard.
